It is the responsibility of each flat owner to manage the waste that is placed in each of their bins.

Please be aware that the Isle of Anglesey County Council will not collect overfilled bins or mixed waste within the recycled bins.
Should the council fail to collect please call the council within 24 hours to rearrange collection. 

If you do not have a bin, please contact the Council to arrange for one to be delivered.

The waste collection on your site is managed by the Isle of Anglesey County Council. Their current route frequency is:

What goes in where?

Trolley box

Top red box

  • Mixed paper
  • Magazines and envelopes
  • Textiles (old clothes and material, including bed linen, however no duvets or pillows)

Please ensure that the textiles are placed in a plastic bag within the top red box on every occasion. This will ensure that the textiles do not get wet in severe weather.

Middle blue box

  • Plastic bottles
  • Plastic pots, tubs and trays e.g. ice cream tubs, yoghurt pots, meat trays etc.
  • Drinks cans, food tins and aerosols
  • Clean foil items

No gas canisters

Bottom orange box

  • Glass bottles and jars
  • Cardboard (maximum size 50cm x 50cm)

Food waste bin

  • Fruit and vegetables
  • Bread and pastries
  • Dairy
  • Meat and bones
  • Tea and coffee grounds

Green bin

  • Grass cuttings
